IYENGAR YOGA now at The Pilates Body!

In the one hour Iyengar yoga class, poses(asana) will be taught which will develop your strength and flexibility. 
 
The poses are taught in such a way as to bring your mind into your body and to develop awareness and sensitivity.
 
As the class is at entry level no previous experience is required and anyone can join irrespective of age or physical condition.
 
Poses are taught with attention to alignment and modifications and/or props given to cater to different needs.  If practised regularly, you will find increased energy, reduced stress,improved digestion, immune function and sleep. The class, while non-competitive is nevertheless challenging.
 
Krissie is a certified Iyengar teacher, and has been practising yoga for over 10 years and teaching since 2003. Krissie has studied at the Iyengar Institute in India, and attended  workshops with Geeta Iyengar.
