"Three years ago I was extremely unfit, had poor posture and became very short of breath and very tired after walking a short distance. On learning I had osteoarthritis and osteoporosis, my doctor recommended that I commence pilates to help me with these problems. I commenced pilates at Pilates Body, initially having one lesson per week and gradually increased to three lessons per week. I am now able to walk a considerable distance more quickly without shortness of breath and with good posture. My doctor, family, friends and I attribute the remarkable turnaround in my general health, energy, fitness and mobility, including my range of movement, to the pilates. Also, I recently had a knee replacement and my surgeon believes my recovery has been enhanced due to my participation in pilates.
